This Montana sapphire displays a medium light tone with vivid saturation, resulting in a lively and well-defined yellow color. The stone is very bright and exhibits excellent scintillation, giving it strong visual presence for its size. A very small internal fracture near the girdle within the pavilion is visible to the unaided eye, though it is difficult to locate when viewed from the face-up position. Two tiny feather-like inclusions near the cullet are present but are not detectable without magnification. Aside from these minor features, the stone is remarkably clean. A strong example of natural, untreated yellow Montana sapphire in an elegant pear cut.
