This untreated Montana sapphire displays a blue green color in a very light tone with moderately strong saturation, delivering excellent brightness and scintillation that give it a clean, lively presence. The stone is eye clean, and under magnification it is exceptionally clear save for a few long, fine strands of silk — a level of clarity that is genuinely uncommon in unheated Montana sapphires and well worth noting.
